Advanced Access Discontinued.

For almost five years, Advanced Access has provided our customers with important OMU administrative capabilities that were lacking in the HP solution out of the box.  However, that is about to change with the next release of OMU 9.0 which will finally include an embedded web-based administrative console, developed by Blue Elephant Systems (BES).  Because of this new direction, Pepperweed has decided to “end-of-life” Advanced Access and not release another major version of the software to support OMU 9.0.  With this in mind, we have been working diligently to provide our existing customers with some options as listed below:

• Pepperweed is announcing the end of life of Advanced Access for March 31, 2010.  Up until that time, we will continue to provide support and product updates to our existing customers with active support contracts.  However, we will not be selling new licenses.
• Pepperweed has recently formed a partnership with Blue Elephant Systems (BES) who has a presence in both Germany and the US.  This partnership allows Pepperweed to resell the Blue Elephant Systems (BES) MIDAS products.  For a comparison of Pepperweed Advanced Access and the MIDAS solutions, please see the comparison chart in the media vault below.  You can also reference the BES website for specific product information at http://www.blue-elephant-systems.com .
