Pepperweed Consulting announces new headquarters and executives
Pittsburgh, PA—February 25, 2008—Pepperweed Consulting, an expert and certified provider of IT Management Consulting services, announced its new headquarters is now located in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, a northern suburb of Pittsburgh.
The move coincides with Pepperweed’s plans for significant growth in product and solution development, as well as market expansion. The facility will house executive, administrative and sales team members, allowing for continued growth and greater operational efficiencies. Pepperweed anticipates adding 100 jobs within the next three years.
The new location was selected based on several factors including cost of living, access to computer science graduates from Carnegie Mellon University, University of Pittsburgh, and Penn State University, easy access to the company’s Midwest and east coast clients, and a Governors Action Team grant from the Commonwealth of PA.
To coincide with the decision to relocate, Pepperweed’s Board of Directors named Patrick Stewart as Chief Executive Officer. Stewart has most recently served as the Executive Chairman of the Board at Pepperweed and Chairman of GSP Consulting and also brings over 25 years of Fortune 500 executive management, company growth and Chief Information Officer (CIO) experience. “Since joining the Board of Directors in January 2007, I continue to be impressed by the talent that has been assembled in the company. The company’s great brand and reputation for high quality customer engagements and innovative solutions are a direct reflection of the entire Pepperweed team. I look forward to helping guide the company through its next growth phase,” comments Stewart.
Also just announced is the hiring of David Baker as senior vice president of human resources, who most recently served as the Human Capital Partner at Adams Capital Management. Baker’s primary focus will be to guide the company through the anticipated growth in regards to recruitment, employee development and performance management, while also being a key contributor to the executive management team. David’s extensive experience through his many years at Adams Capital Management and ADC Telecommunications will bring a new level of focus on developing the Pepperweed team.
