Patrick Stewart Executive Chairman of the Board
Patrick Stewart brings over 25 years of Fortune 500 executive
management, company growth and technology commercialization experience
to Pepperweed’s Board of Directors. Pat also actively serves on the
board of directors of several technology companies including Starr Life
Sciences and GSP Consulting. Prior to joining GSP Consulting, Pat was
co-founder and managing director of Idea Foundry, a business
accelerator that created and funded over 30 early stage technology
companies. In addition, he co-founded and served as CEO of
Pittsburgh-based MetalSite and co-founder and chairman of ScrapSite
from 1997 until the sale of both companies in 2001. Prior to MetalSite,
Pat was the CIO/EVP of Technology of Weirton Steel Corporation,
formerly the fourth largest steel company in North America. In
addition, he has held various other director and executive management
positions, which include business development, operations, business
process re-engineering, product marketing, and engineering. Previously,
he was a member of the Board and Board of Strategic Advisors for
Manugistics/Talus Software, a leading global provider of supply chain
management and revenue management software solutions. Pat holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a masters
degree in Computer Science.

Patrick Mercier Vice Chairman of the Board
Patrick is the owner of several European and American businesses
operating in various fields, including insurance, electronics,
manufacturing, software, construction, land development, real estate,
and hospitality. Patrick was born and raised in Brussels where he
received degrees in Business, Management, and Engineering from
Louvain-La-Neuve. Patrick founded the American subsidiary of B.E.A., a
pioneer in the design, manufacture, and distribution of detection
systems for automatic doors. In this capacity Patrick captured a 90%
share of the American market, leading B.E.A. to be selected as one of
the Inc. 500 fastest growing companies in the U.S. for 1995 (#190). In
2000, he was selected by Ernst and Young as the West Pennsylvania
Entrepreneur of the Year in High Technology. |
Ray Ramey Board Member
Ray joined Pepperweed as VP Corporate Development and as a member of
its Board of Directors in 2006, bringing extensive management and
ownership experience in startup and high growth businesses in North
America and Europe. Most recently, Ray was co-Founder and CEO of
InterTECH Security, a leading commercial electronic security systems
integrator. Prior to starting InterTECH, Ray was a partner and
executive at Herzog-Hart Corp, a Boston based architectural design and
construction management firm, where he successfully established and
grew its EMEA business interests. Ray has held senior management
positions with Digital Equipment, ABB and CDI Corporation. He has
extensive experience in strategic and tactical analysis and planning,
with specialized expertise in financial analysis and mergers and
acquisitions which were extensively relied upon during Pepperweed’s
acquisition of JCube Consulting Services in 2006. Ray holds degrees in
Chemical Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University. |
Dan Lynch Board Member
A practicing attorney for 14 years, Dan started his own law firm in
2002. Prior to founding his law practice, Dan served as Vice President
and General Counsel for Pittsburgh Logistics Systems, where he managed
a full range of legal services, as well as HR, facilities, security and
innovation. Prior to joining PLS, Dan was CEO of 3e Software, an
e-market software company. Dan began his career at Reed Smith in
Pittsburgh. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, with honors,
from Saint Vincent College, and a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the
University of Detroit, where he served as executive editor of the Law
Review and a member of the National Trial Team. Dan has also served in
executive management for a number of state and federal bar associations. |
